Documents Required
For No Objection Letter (NOC)
A No Objection Letter (NOC) is required for the repatriation of the deceased’s body from Thailand to India. The following documents are required for the issuance of the NOC:
- Request Letter: A request letter from the next of kin (family member) of the deceased, requesting the No Objection Letter for repatriation.
- Dully filled Covering Letter
- Passport of the Next of Kin: Original and copy of the passport of the next of kin (family member), including the first page and last page for identification purposes.
- Passport of the Deceased: Original and copy of the passport of the deceased for verification.
- Death Notification from Hospital: A death notification issued by the hospital where the deceased passed away (if applicable).
- Police Report (if applicable): A police report in case of a natural death at home or if the death occurred due to an accident or other unnatural causes.
- FIR for Accidental or Unnatural Death: A copy of the FIR (First Information Report) filed by the family if the death was due to an accident or unnatural causes.
- Translation of Thai Documents: All Thai documents (e.g., hospital death notification, police reports, etc.) should be translated into English before submission to the embassy.
