How To Apply

1. Create an Account: Register on the Du Digital Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website.
   Click here to register.
2. Fill Out the Government Application Form: Click here to access the form.
3. Book an Appointment: Schedule your visit to Du Digital ICAC by choosing a suitable date and time.

4. Prepare Your Documents: Carry your passport, photographs, and all supporting documents as listed in the Documents Checklist section.
5. Visit Du Digital ICAC: Visit the designated ICAC. The address and location will be mentioned in your appointment letter. Ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
6. Submit Your Application & Pay Fees: Submit your documents and pay the applicable fees at ICAC. Refer to the Fee Details section for exact charges.
7. Enroll for Biometrics (if required): Complete biometric enrollment if applicable.
8. Application Submission Complete: You’ve successfully submitted your visa application.
9. Track Your Application: Monitor your application’s status online.

Medical Visa for Non-Thai Nationals

• Dully filled Application form 
• Photo 2 inch x 2 inch only white background
• Copy passport first page – 2 copies
• Copy Thai visa – 1 copy
• Copy of the last old India visa – 1 copy (if available)
• Medical report from Hospital in Thailand (in English)
• Letter from Hospital in Thailand stating purpose of referral to Indian Hospital
• Letter of acceptance from Indian Hospital
• For children under 15 years: Letter of consent from parents + copy of both parents’ passport front pages
• Flight booking ticket (round trip) – if available
• Hotel booking in India – if available
• NON-THAI FORM (only black ink)

1. Who is eligible for a Medical Visa to India?
   Foreign nationals traveling to India for specialized treatment at a recognized hospital, such as organ transplant, heart surgery, neurology, or cancer treatment.
2. Can a family member or friend accompany the patient?
   Yes. Close relatives or friends can apply for a Medical Attendant Visa (MED-X). A declaration from the patient and supporting hospital documentation are required.
3. How long is the Medical Visa valid?
   Typically, for up to one year with a maximum of three entries. The actual duration is determined after reviewing the case and documents.
4. Is registration with Indian authorities required upon arrival?
   Yes, if the visa is valid for more than 180 days, registration with FRRO/FRO within 14 days of arrival is mandatory.
5. Do minor children accompanying the patient need a separate visa?
   Yes. They can be granted an Entry (X) Visa that matches the duration of the patient’s Medical Visa.
6. What documents are needed to apply for a Medical Visa?

   Yes, in special cases, visa extensions can be requested through FRRO, especially for follow-up treatment or long-term care.
8. Where should I submit my application?
   All visa applications must be submitted at your designated DU Digital Global ICAC after booking a prior appointment. No walk-ins are accepted.
9. Can I use a Medical Visa for wellness or general health check-ups?
   No. The Medical Visa is strictly for serious, specialized treatment. For wellness or alternative therapies, a Tourist Visa may be appropriate.
